    Gameboy Bricks

If you're searching for a more unique base for your outdoor walkway than the average masonry at your local Home Depot, look no further than these Gameboy Bricks ($46/each). These bricks are made from original, brick-like Gameboy units, giving your front or backyard retro gaming cred that can only come from merging centuries-old building techniques with decade-old tech. Tetris not included. [via]

    Amber Block Lamp

One of our favorite lamps is getting a color update. The Amber Block Lamp ($160; May 2008) is a new version of Harri Koskinen's Block Lamp, featuring amber-colored glass that has not been sand-blasted, along with a matching brown textile cord. The lamp gives off ambient light by using a low-wattage bulb encased between two pieces of solid glass, and has been featured in museums worldwide.

    Multi-color LED Lightbulb

Add some flash and color to your next get together with this Multi-color LED Lightbulb w/Remote ($50). Compatible with standard lightbulb sockets, the 5 watt LED bulb is super bright, and with the included remote can be set to any of 16 specific colors, or can be set to transition through them using one of four effects: flash, strobe, fade, or smooth. The remote also lets you turn the LED on and off and adjust the brightness level, so you get just the right amount of the color you want.

    Polaroid Instant Mobile Photo Printer

With its instant cameras now a thing of the past, Polaroid is moving instant printing technology into the digital age with its Digital Instant Mobile Photo Printer ($TBA). Utilizing ZINK Zero Ink printing technology, this mobile photo printer creates 2" x 3" borderless prints instantly, from cameras or camera phones connected via USB or Bluetooth. The printer also houses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for on-the-go use, and its great-looking prints come on sticky-back stock, letting you (and your friends) affix your newly-minted memories to anything you'd like.

    The Enlightenment Lamp

Despite all the books on enlightenment, only this one can actually provide light. The Enlightenment Book Lamp ($130) is a book-shaped lamp made from white plexiglass, lit with a 9-watt energy-saving lamp, and with the words "The Enlightenment" on the binding and front cover. Plus, ten percent of the proceeds goes to fund education projects run by the Edukans Foundation. Now that's enlightenment. [via]

  • trips to ikea are the best. 15 swedish meatballs and mashed potatoes for $5, chocolate overload cake for $3... shopping is always fun, everything is cheap, and the installments and room examples are fun.. not to mention all the crazy plush animals. its even more fun when you have a budget and can spend some money. i also restocked up on these lock-in wood panels that they have free samples of. i like to draw and paint on them. here, lemme show you our day:

yoshi, stacey and i had a good time buying things, all with wise discernment of course. we got twigs. 45 dollars worth of twigs. haha. but trust me it was worth it. plus we got lighting things, a bunch of corner tables, black covers for the sofas, and a few goodies just for ourselves. we almost couldnt fit it in yoshi's car.

here are the wood pieces i was talking about. im gonna draw trees on them and put them on my wall.

theres stacey. she doesnt talk much because she'd rather read harry potter in the back seat. haha just kidding. shes a friendly person.

yup a nice day. rainy and tiring. but good. we're gonna have to go back n get a few more things. im looking forward to it.

  • canburger.jpg

This is a cheeseburger. In a can. It's a cheeseburger in a can.

I honestly can't figure out how I feel about this: is it the greatest achievement of mankind thus far, or is it an abomination of foodstuffs that deserves to be hucked back into the gaping maw of whatever food processing plant it was spewed from? I just don't know what to think anymore. Would you eat a cheeseburger in a can? Keep in mind that it'll look nowhere near as delicious as the example above when you pull it out of the can. • if you know anyone who wants to go to japan and teach english, i have a good plug for them.

URGENT--English Teacher Needed Immediately.  We just found out this week that our replacement teacher who was scheduled to arrive this March will not be able to join us until at least this summer.  This has put us on RED ALERT for a teacher.  This means about 50 of our students will be without a teacher in two months.  We know that God isn't suprised by the change of schedule, so we ask you to join us in praying that He connect us with just the right person by the end of this month.  Also, please see if you can have this announced at your church or school and share this information with any single ladies that you know:
